Communicates well and works closely with vendors, contractors and with the management team to ensure the needs of the tenants and buildings are satisfactorily met
Inspect all areas of the building(s) and report deficiencies as well as suggestions for improvement
Oversee and inspect the work of contractors, vendors and trade workers
Receive and respond to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues
Review and coordinate work assignments; plan work to be performed and obtain necessary tools, equipment and materials
Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
Complete assignments and paperwork in a timely manner
Possess knowledge of safe and efficient operation of equipment, power and hand tools
Demonstrate exemplary tenant relations, team spirit and respect of others
Administer necessary inventory control programs to ensure adequate spare parts and material inventories
What do we look for in our Engineer candidates?
Must have good driving record
Must be detailed orientated, organized, self-motivated and able to multi-task
Must be able to use and understand the basic functions of a smart phone and be computer literate
Minimum of 5 years of field experience
Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently
